Even though a MRI or X-Ray can be helpful when unsure on what is going on, a physiotherapists will perform a thorough clinical examination when you first come in for therapy.


So in the vast majority of cases, you do not need a MRI or X-ray prior to coming to physical therapy. A skilled physiotherapist will assess your condition, determine a diagnosis, and create a specialized treatment plan to restore strength, function, and mobility.
