No doubt water has many benefits. It flushes out toxins, transports nutrients into the cells and helps regulate body temperature and maintains pH balance.

But do you know being properly hydrated is critical to physical therapy success? By drinking more water, you can help to change your muscle consistency, and soften tight muscles, giving you better results from your treatment.

Not sure which type of liquids should you be consuming? Stick to good old H20 for most of your liquid intake. If you need a change, feel free to add in some unsweetened green tea, herbal tea but try to steer clear of soda, fruit juice or anything filled with sweeteners.

If you have any questions on how much water you should be consuming, talk to physiotherapists at PhysioRehab Group.
