Myofascial Release

Are the tough membranes that surround and support our muscles. These tissues can get stiff and sensitive, causing chronic pain and discomfort. Myofascial release is the physical therapy used to treat this issue and help restore the ideal state of the tissues. The pain in these tissues, usually starts in certain specific points also called “trigger points.”

The therapy works by placing pressure of variable degree to these trigger points. The pressure then eases the tension and tightness of the points and reduces the pain.
